Saab fluid forming is the most efficient method of deep draw, forming intricate aerospace pressings. The use of fluid forming makes it possible to draw very precise components and complex shapes at various depths with repeatable accuracy.  At MSM, our team of highly skilled and experienced engineers are commited to delivering the highest quality products to our customers.

Our fluid forming process has the following features:

  • variety of low cost tooling - punch, cavity die, bulge, split tools.
  • high quality parts - no post form adjustment.
  • reduced part thinning
  • high forming pressures - 10,000psi+
  • repeatability - less operator-critical than hot form or draw form methods.
