MSM celebrates International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day (IWD) 2025 is on 8th March, with a focus on the need to Accelerate Action to achieve gender equality. It calls for increased momentum and urgency in addressing the barriers and biases that women face. It honours women’s achievements, raises awareness about gender equality, and promotes women’s empowerment.

MSM’s commitment to ‘Accelerate Action’
MSM aerospace fabricators is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day and honour the remarkable contributions of women in engineering and aerospace, especially the women in our team. MSM has long championed gender diversity within the aerospace sector, its commitment exemplified by its early endorsement of the Women in Aviation and Aerospace Charter, a pledge to promote gender balance across all industry levels. In January 2020, MSM proudly signed this Charter during the annual ADS Toulouse event, reinforcing its dedication to creating a more balanced and equitable industry for women.

The Women in Aviation & Aerospace Charter (WIAAC) aims to support the overall diversity of the sector and build more balanced and fair industries for all. The Charter looks to support the progression of women into senior roles in the aviation and aerospace sectors and aspires to see gender balance at all levels.
It acknowledges that a balanced workforce enhances business performance, customer satisfaction, profitability, workplace culture, and investor appeal. MSM is a proud signatory of the Charter and commits to:
• Supporting the advancement of women into senior positions by focusing on the executive pipeline and mid-tier level.
• Recognising the sector’s diversity and setting appropriate internal targets and strategies.
• Publicly reporting on progress to ensure transparency and accountability.

In celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, MSM aerospace fabricators continues to uphold these principles by fostering an inclusive workplace that values and promotes female talent. MSM’s ongoing efforts include investing in apprenticeship programs that encourage women to pursue careers in aerospace engineering. During National Apprenticeship Week 2025, MSM highlighted the contributions of its apprentices, emphasising the fresh perspectives and enthusiasm they bring to the company. By integrating these values with its commitment to gender diversity, MSM exemplifies how industry leaders can drive positive change and celebrate the contributions of women in aerospace.
