The Position
Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer, the Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring all products and processes meet stringent aerospace industry standards and customer requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures in accordance with aerospace standards (AS9100/ISO9001).
- Conduct internal & external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Analyse manufacturing processes and identify areas for quality improvement.
- Investigate and resolve issues using root cause analysis and corrective/preventive methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to maintain and enhance product integrity and compliance.
- Review and approve supplier quality documentation. Work with suppliers to resolve quality concerns.
- Prepare quality reports and present findings to management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

About You
ESSENTIAL DESIREABLE
To understand the importance of Health & Safety.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 systems and other relevant aerospace standards.
Proven experience in a quality engineering role.
Experience with quality tools and test methods.
Experience in conducting audits and managing corrector action processes.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Strong computer skills with experience of using Microsoft Office to drive positive change.
The attitude and desire to succeed.
Certificate in quality engineering.
Experience and working knowledge of EASA 145 standards for aircraft maintenance.
Experience with supplier quality management and external auditing.
Experience of the NADCAP audit process.
